DROWNING OUT THE NOISE
What Amaya *thinks* her journey is about: getting Dad sober, winning gold at Jr. Olympics, and praying to get what she wants. What her journey is *actually* about: accepting what she can’t control, boundaries, leaning into a Father who will never let her down.

Meet Me at the Market

Eleanor (Ellie) is absolutely ready for Farmers Market season. As the owner of Heartland Homestead, there’s nothing more validating of her lifestyle choice than being immersed in Iowa’s biggest market scene of the summer. It’s her happy place, her sanctuary, her livelihood. At least it was until her ex high school sweetheart shows up and takes residence one booth over. For the whole summer. Fan-stinking-tastic.
Oliver isn’t just any ex, he’s the ex. The kind she hinged her entire future upon until tragedy hit his family and he bolted after graduation. The kind that shattered her. But that was then. Now she’s mastered the art of building an emotional wall around her heart, and not even Oliver Everett is going to be able to break it down. That’s the plan, anyway.
Through some unfortunate forced proximity, a touch of friendly competition, and a magnetic pull neither of them can shake, Ellie and Oliver are back in each other’s lives. Their reunion may be as sweet as Oliver’s honey, but can either of them be vulnerable enough to allow this to be something real? After all, can guarded hearts beat as strongly?
